It is a must to have a juice with every breakfast as it is equivalent to an easy serving of a fruit. You must try to reduce calories as much as you can by limiting the size to half a cup or 125 ml.

Having a salad or a vegetable soup before having lunch or dinner is an added advantage for two vegetable servings.

If you are an alcohol freak, try to reduce the consumption by taking light versions of beer or liquor in half shots. You can also mix wine with soda that can work as a refreshing drink.

Smoking is one bad habit that must be avoided. Consult a doctor and try to avoid it completely. If you think, it is the only activity that can make you active, you are absolutely wrong. There are hundreds of better options.

Apart from all these, exercise is the most important and required activity that can keep you healthy. It’s not just the regular exercise, try to impart more exercise in the normal regular activities and this can help you stay healthy forever.

Addictive Lifestyle Really Bad?

Are you addict with something or doing something? Me to :) ..But what is addiction really about? ADDICTION can be simply explained as the devoted conducting of oneself in a habitual or obsessive manner that causes dependency.

Addicts come in all shapes, sizes and degrees of involvement – from the tragic addictive consequences of alcohol and hard drug use to seemingly harmless addictions like eating only red M&M’s. Some of the more well-known addictions include compulsive behavior, nicotine, sex, co-dependency, internet, gambling, work, caffeine, chocolate, money, shopping; or the more recent — addiction to texting.

I believe that LIFESTYLES can become ADDICTIVE. And, quite possibly, it is our addictive lifestyles that eventually lead us to other addictions.

Many times throughout our lives we need to sit back and reassess the WHO, WHAT, WHY, WHERE, WHEN and HOW of our individual existence. Unfortunately, what tends to happen is that we wait until things have gotten way out of hand, and the level of anxiety, frustration and anger is extremely high. It all seems so terribly hopeless. The pile of manure has gotten so high that we can’t see daylight let alone have the strength to figure out a way to get rid of it.

Live a Lifestyle That Step Out of the Ordinary

Do you just have an ordinary life until now? Why not try extraordinary life from now..Coach Kim share her story about step out of the ordinary:

I was sitting in a restaurant last week chilling out with my half sandwich, half salad combo and minding my own business. But because I focus on being keen in my environment so I can share parts of my journey with you, a situation arose right next to me, one table over. Sitting beside me were three ladies who appeared to be family members (aunt and 2 nieces or at least a mentor type relationship). The woman in the group had labeled one of the young ladies, “ordinary”. The young girl ate in a sulking manner and finally at meal’s end, revealed that she had been greatly offended and even mis-labeled by her auntie. And of course the auntie was offended that she was offended. And here’s the rub – she spent the rest of the time trying to convince the niece that being ordinary is not an insult. Most people are ordinary and according to her, the young girl was just being overly sensitive.

And there I sat, the next table over, trying not to scream. When I was younger they sold toy snakes consisting of fabric on springs, which would be stuffed inside a can. The prankster would then lure some unsuspecting victim to open the can. Of course the coiled snake would jump 3 feet out of its home and scare the bejeebers out of the victim. Well, that is how I felt watching this whole conversation unravel – like the aunt was intent on stuffing the niece into a can, suffocating her individuality and creativity and uniqueness. My challenge to you is to stay as far away from ordinary as you can.

Several Generations have passed and still people continue to turn off the TV or get themselves involved in some other activity like going to the bathroom or making tea while an advertisement is being shown on their TV. It is a well known fact that advertisements now have improved quite a bit and are being framed with more realistic ideas that depict real life. This makes the advertisers feel that their ads are a boon to the customers or viewers but in reality, the story is the same. People still don’t like watching advertisements which are screened when a movie or a show is being watched.

There is really a need for the whole marketing strategy to be reframed. There was not really a great change in marketing since the past 100 years or more. There was no good unique winning plan. There were changes in the consumers and there is an exponential change in competition. The media space with its divergent nature is always after the marketing paradigm. The current marketing strategies may be working wonders for some of the advertisers and they may continue for a few years too. But there would be a point where in these advertisers should get out of their business.

Hence it can be concluded that in this urban life, there is a real requirement on the advertisers to frame new strategies that doesn’t bore the customers as the regular advertisements are doing now and this is the only solution that can help them to grow in the market in the near future.

Watching Television–causing more bad than good?

One of the greatest inventions in the history of mankind related to information and entertainment is television. The world is being viewed as a global or shared village where in everyone can have an access through the use of television. It’s not just the international news; TV is a good source of entertainment too. We can watch movies, various serials and other entertainment programs too.

In spite of these great uses, there is an argument stating that the problems caused by TV are more compared to the advantages. The first one is a negative utilization of time factor. Though the intention with which we start watching is good, we may end up in watching useless programs and movies most of the time. And we end up watching TV for a longer time than that we originally planned.

Surprisingly, many viewers claim that they watch television due to its power and not the content. This implies doing activities like eating snacks or something similar while watching. A recently study indicated that the men who watch TV more hours a day are comparatively more obese than those who do not watch it for more hours.

It is proved that the attentive and imaginative powers are reduced by watching TV. This is because people become impatient due to the weakening of attention. Considering these things, one may feel that TV, though one of the best sources of information and entertainment is causing more bad than good.

  • Constant cleaning and flossing of teeth is extremely important to get rid of the bad smell. If you have braces, mouth guards or any other kind of oral devices, make sure that they are cleaned to near perfection before putting them back into your mouth.

Alone But Not Lonely

In today’s fast paced society, we’ve become accustomed to filling the eeriness of silence with fluff. We turn to many distractions as a means of escaping feelings of idleness or boredom. But the main thing we wish to elude is loneliness. Solitude does not have to alienating or lonesome. In fact, solitude and loneliness are distinctly separate.

The death of a loved one or the inability to find people who understand you can leave you feeling isolated. Webster’s dictionary plainly describes loneliness as “being without companions.” It’s natural to experience an emptiness while longing for love or acceptance. Loneliness is therefore an emotive state that can be experienced whether or not one is physically alone.

It was Geoffrey F. Fisher who said, “In cities no one is quiet but many are lonely; in the country, people are quiet but few are lonely.”

You have to be at peace with a problem, WHILST it is in existence, for the solution to come to you. i.e. you have to accept yourself where you are, no matter what – you cannot solve any problem without first accepting it, and yourself. We spend so much of our time trying to deny what has happened or deny a part of ourselves, pushing it away, which only leads to more of the problem appearing in your life. Very often simply fully accepting the part of you that is creating the problem will be enough to have it disappear, as it is so used to being pushed away/rejected. Part of you is trying to send you a message; maybe it’s time you listened.

2) You cannot attract to you, that to which you are not already connected
So be an appreciator. One of the fastest ways to attract what you want towards you is learning to appreciate the good in whatever situation it is life is presenting you with. Being an appreciator is so important because it is the closest energetic vibrational match to source and therefore the creation of what it is that you want. Therefore the more you operate at that frequency, the closer to source you are, and the faster things will manifest for you in the physical world. It is not important to verbalize your appreciation but simply to offer it. Appreciation is the antidote to some of the lowest forms of energy and emotions we are capable of e.g. shame, resentment, etc. By offering thanks and assuming that you already have what you seek, you immediately begin to attract more of it towards you, whether you have any of it or not.

Even though to some people it may seem trivial, I was born with a bald patch the size of a ten pence piece. As I went through childhood and especially the teenage years I became more and more self-conscious and paranoid about it.
